Slash pollution from global transportation

Transportation is the world’s fastest-growing source of climate-warming emissions and a major source of deadly air pollution.

By 2030, lock in the policies and investments necessary for cars, trucks, ships and planes to reach net zero emissions by 2050 — putting no more climate pollution into the atmosphere than is removed.

  • Hundreds of millions of people who live near ports, airports, trucking routes and other transportation infrastructure breathe cleaner air and experience improved health.
  • The planet avoids ~0.06°C (0.1°F) of warming by 2050 and ~0.4°C (0.7°F) by 2100.
